What Is The Texas Potjie Festival All About?

Have you ever heard about the Texas Potjie Festival and wondered what it was all about? Well, wonder no more! Check out this video to see for yourself!

Every year, hundreds of South Africans make a pilgrimage to the southern state of Texas, for what has become the single biggest South African Festival in the United States of America… The biggest celebration of S.A. culture, good food, and good company this side of the Atlantic!

We have been to the Texas Potjie Festival 5 times, and I can tell you from experience that it is a big blast!!! :-)

We have been to "THE POTJIE" since the begining. There were maybe 80 of us who went to Brenham. Since then its been our family "holiday" tradition to go to this wonderful event. GREAT GREAT GREAT

We only missed the first year as we were still in South Africa and this is the highlight of our year and we cannot wait for Labor (or should I say Labour Day) this year.
